Further infos
Among other things, Rainer holds world records such as the longest treadmill run with 2,340 km in 30 days and was the first European winner at the Sahara Marathon in 2014. Marathons in an ice rink or on a wind turbine as well as 70 km around a kitchen table are among the curious records of his career.
Rainer became aware of Joe Nimble because of his frustration with the lack of toefreedom® in 99% of conventional running shoes. He has been training at Ultreya for some time now and is currently testing prototypes on ultra distances for Joe Nimble. In November 2023, Rainer will start in Joe Nimbles at the Jungle Ultramarathon in Vietnam.
